The extra bottle needed to perform a sequence protocol for Human Insulin ELISA.

An insulin assay that does not detect insulin analogs makes it possible to determine an insulin analog’s contribution to an individual’s free insulin profile. The specific detection of endogenous insulin in the Mercodia Insulin ELISA using the alternative protocol may be combined with insulin analog detection in Iso-Insulin ELISA (10-1128-01), which cross-reacts to insulin glargine and its metabolites to various degrees. By using a sequence protocol with the Insulin ELISA, the cross-reactivity of glargine and its metabolites is reduced to non-detectable levels.
